The Student Council at Copenhagen Business School, wanted to create a better student life and for more students to take advantage of the many offers from the university's more than 100 student associations. On that basis, we designed and developed a brand new app-based social network for student life with events, news, chat and much more.
Copenhagen Business School has a unique vibrant community of student organizations. In fact, there are so many different organizations that it has become a challenge for each new generation of students to navigate. A better way to connect with like-minded students at the university was due.
In close collaboration with CBS Students, we designed, user-tested, developed and launched the app Student Life at CBS. The app was developed over multiple development sprints with a scrum team consisting of developers, designer, project owner and scrum master.
Continuous involvement of stakeholders and future users during development sprints helped shape and inform the design and the prioritisation of user stories.
With the Student Life app, students can engage more than 100 local student organizations at campus. And each student organization – from CBS Crypto Club to CBS Seafood – has a brand new way to reach the 22.000 students at the university.
All in all, it’s easier than ever to figure out what’s happening now, to join events and connect with other students with the same interests as you.
